Carol “Stash” Stanley Identifies Problems and Creates Solutions

Being “hard-headed” isn’t always considered a good thing.

But for Stash Stanley, it has proved to be fortuitous on several occasions!

A Fortunate Accident

Stash has been an entrepreneur for many years.

Her first product came to fruition, in large part, because of money she received after being hit by a car many years ago.

(One of the first instances of something positive happening after knocking her head against the ground!)

That product, the Stash-Mill Mitt, has been on display in the Baseball Hall of Fame for years and is still a popular piece of equipment for many baseball and softball players.

Another Fall, Another Product Idea

Many years later, Stash was out on an early morning run when she tripped over her shoelaces and came crashing to the Earth again.

After picking herself up and retying her shoes, she finished her workout but the wheels were in motion.

And Lace Locker was born.

Rocking the Lace Locker

Lace Locker is definitely a solution to your shoes coming untied mid-run, but the purpose behind the company is much bigger than that.

Proceeds from the sale of Lace Lockers are designated for the Lace Locker Scholarship Fund.

If you want to connect with Stash and/or learn more about Lace Locker and the work that she is doing there, check out the Lace Locker website or say hi on Twitter (Lace Locker and/or Stash Sports).
