Lauren Wallace Has Lofty Goals for 2015 & a Plan for Success
Lauren Wallace walked onto her college track team as a sprinter, but after her freshman year and a heart to heart with her coach, she decided to transition to a middle distance runner and settled in as an 800m runner.
And the results speak for themselves.

Lauren Wallace
After finishing her college career as an All-American, she qualified for the semi-finals at the US Championships, and now she’s setting her sights even higher: getting into a Team USA singlet.
Here are some of the highlights from our conversation:
- Her secret desire to race in a 200m, just don’t tell her coach
- The experience of running at the US Championships
- Running in Belgium, once she was able to get the wrinkles ironed out
- The process of adjusting from college to professional runner
- What her life is like outside of running
