Since learning about Right to Play, and seeing the work that they do, Martin has championed the cause of spreading their message and raising funds to help grow their impact by embarking upon a series of quests that are mind-blowing in scope.

We talked about his past quests, future plans, and how sibling rivalry got him started as a runner during our chat. Here are some of the highlights:

  • He didn’t start running until age 47, when his brothers challenged him to race a marathon with them
  • The bike trip, and the things that he saw, that changed his life forever
  • Running 250 marathons in one calendar year
  • Tackling 10 quests over 5 years to raise awareness and funds for Right to Play
  • Why we all have the power to be the change we would like to see in the world
