Melissa Gacek Has Set the Bar High in All Areas of Her Life
Melissa Gacek excels in running and many other areas of life as well.
In addition to being a member of the Oiselle Haute Volee team of runners, Melissa is also a mom, wife, and successful entrepreneur.
Melissa has qualified for the Olympic Trials twice, finished in the top 10 in a handful of pretty popular marathons (including a couple of wins), and was an All-American in college.
Here are some of the highlights from my run with Melissa Gacek.
- Living in a great part of the country for running 15k/10 mile races
- Liking the treadmill enough to go for a treadmill world record
- Balancing work and family with running
- Running solo vs running with others
- The experience of running in the Olympic Trials
- Running Boston someday?
- Getting into entrepreneurship

There’s always room for more members of the tribe!
Both the Facebook group and the email group provide opportunities that can’t be found anywhere else.
The Facebook group is still small, but it is a great way to connect with fellow runners and foster community amongst like minded individuals. The email group is THE way to stay up to date about future guests on the show, as well as getting some other freebies and offers that aren’t available to anyone else.
If you’ve got questions about either/both, just let me know!
