Information Overload?
If you’re trying to take in all of the running advice and information that is freely available online, it can feel quite a bit like drinking from a firehose.
Man I love a good GIF…
Anyway, maybe you can relate to that feeling? You’re looking for an answer to a question and you get so many responses that you don’t know where to even begin.
I’ve been the kid in that clip many times.
Shoot, in plenty of instances I’m still that poor kid!
But in some cases, if I’m honest, I can be guilty of being the guy on the other end of the fire hose just blowing people away with a surge of information.
So, in an effort to NOT overwhelm you with information, I’d like to slow the blast of the fire hose down to more of a drinkable level in hopes that you might actually be able to learn something today that can help you take the next step forward in your running journey.
Podcast Interviews With New-ish Runners
I try to include a variety of different runners on my podcast in terms of experience and ability levels.
I’ve had the pleasure of chatting with Olympians, Olympic hopefuls, those that are very much new to the sport, and every level in between.
The following are a few guests that, at the time of our chat, were still relatively new to the sport of running.
Perhaps their stories will help to motivate and inspire you as you continue to grow as a runner.
Quick Tips You May Find Helpful
Every Friday, I release a Quick Tip blog post/podcast episode.
The goal with every quick tip post/episode is to address a common problem/issue within the running community.
And that means that there are some quick tips that are great for newer runners like yourself, and there are some that are probably a fair bit beyond where you are as a runner today.
In the future, those tips will be relevant to you. But today? Not so much.
Here is a sampling of past quick tips specifically for newer runners, that you may find helpful.
Other Posts/Videos That You May Enjoy
Most of the content I create these days are the podcast episodes that are released every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
But on occasion, I’ll write the odd blog post or create a random video here and there.
And in the past, I did both of those things weekly.
Here are a few of my favorite blog posts and videos from the past that are still quite popular today.
