Paige Biglin Loves to Compete Whether That’s on the Track or on the Roads
Today I’m reconnecting with Paige Biglin.

Paige Biglin
I first chatted with Paige a few weeks ago as a part of the group run we had with the ladies from Salty Running, and today we get to dive a little deeper into her running story.
Getting Better with Time
Paige has been active for pretty much her entire life, and in junior high she went out for the cross country team and hasn’t stopped running since.
She ran competitively in high school and college, but actually made some the biggest leaps in her training since getting out of college.
The catalyst to her improvement: more miles.
As she started to add more miles to her training load, she kept getting faster and faster.
And when she set her 5k PR, she was running 100 mile weeks!

We are All Experiments of One
I don’t know about you, but 100 mile weeks sound a bit excessive to me.
But it clearly worked for Paige.
And that is an important distinction to make. What works for Paige may or may not work for you or I.
You need to do what works for you, and that’s all that matters.
Whatever that ends up looking like when all is said and done, remember that you’re an experiment of one and whatever works for you is ultimately all that matters.

A Love of Competition
One of the things that Paige really enjoys about running is the competition.
Whatever the distance, Paige loves getting out there and getting pushed by the other people in the race with her.
And, perhaps the type of competition she enjoys the most, is found on the track.
Paige regularly runs in indoor track events, and we spent some time talking about competing on the track with college athletes as an adult.
Moral of the story: it’s a lot of fun!
If you decide to give it a shot, I’d love to hear how it goes for you!
