Is There a Better Way to Fuel Your Running?


Conventional wisdom asserts that we as runners need to consume quite a few carbs both on a daily basis AND during competition/training in order to fuel our muscles for the demands of our sport.

Here’s the funny thing about conventional wisdom; just because a lot of people believe something doesn’t make it true!

And the fact of the matter is that we as runners (and humans in general) simply don’t need carbs in massive quantities.

Some would argue we don’t need carbs in minuscule quantities either, but that is another discussion for another day.
