Information Overload?
With all of the posts online about becoming a “better” runner, whatever that means, it may seem like simply running for fun isn’t enough to make you a “real runner.”
I’m certainly of the belief that there is plenty of room within the running community for every runner, whether you’re trying to get faster or simply running because you enjoy it.
Honestly, what’s not to love about our sport!
From the health benefits to the chance to unplug for a bit to the friendships that can be created after sharing many miles together, running really is something special to all of us.
There is a lot of content on my website, A LOT!
Between videos and podcasts and good old fashioned blog posts, I’ve tried to cover a lot of different topics at one point or another.
Here are some of the episodes/tips/posts that I hope you’ll enjoy as they focus much less on the competitive side of running and much more on simply running for fun!
Podcast Interviews With Recreational Runners
I try to include a variety of different runners on my podcast in terms of experience, ability levels, and reasons for running.
I’ve had the pleasure of chatting with elite athletes that compete in everything they do as well as those that could care less about racing and running fast.
The following are a few guests that enjoy running simply for the sake of running.
Perhaps you can identify with these runners and their stories.
Quick Tips You May Find Helpful
Every Friday, I release a Quick Tip blog post/podcast episode.
The goal with every quick tip post/episode is to address a common problem/issue within the running community.
And that means that there are some quick tips that are great for newer runners, some that pertain to the competitive runners, and some that have nothing to do with running faster or running farther but focus on other areas of our sport.
Here is a sampling of past quick tips that you may find helpful as more of a recreational runner.
Other Posts/Videos That You May Enjoy
Most of the content I create these days are the podcast episodes that are released every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
But on occasion, I’ll write the odd blog post or create a random video here and there.
And in the past, I did both of those things weekly.
Here are a few of my favorite blog posts and videos from the past that are still quite popular today.
