Today’s guest is a former collegiate runner that has found a way to keep running in her post-college life in both her personal and professional lives.

She is the owner of, “Eat Well. Perform Better,” specializing in women runners, as she knows first hand how hard over-training and under-fueling can be on the body.

QT: Is Intermittent Fasting Ok for Distance Runners


I’ve talked about intermittent fasting here and there over the past few years, but I’ve not done a post specific to the topic until today.

A friend on IG reached out the other day, asking about my experience with intermittent fasting and distance running, so I thought it might be worth exploring a bit today.

To be clear, I’m not going to get too deep into the science of intermittent fasting today.

I’ve done enough research to be dangerous, but not certainly not enough to be an expert on the topic.

Instead, I’m mostly just going to focus on my experience with the practice and why I see no reason to change my way of eating anytime soon. Read more
