Running is an important part of my life (obviously!), and I’m going to assume that running is an important part of yours as well.

Every once in awhile, I’ll throw out a question on twitter asking my followers to complete the following sentence: “Running is my ____.”

I love to read the variety of responses that I get from asking this one simple question.

Running is My Teacher

It’s funny how my answer to this question changes from time to time based on what is going on in my life when I ask the question.

Sometimes, running is my stress relief. Sometimes it’s my drug and I’m in need of a fix. Sometimes it’s an escape from life and sometimes it’s what connects me to the outside world.

Lately, however, running has been my teacher.
