Ms. Peggy White

Peggy White is Living Proof That It’s Never to Late to Get Started

On today’s episode of the show, I’m honored to be walking and talking with Ms. Peggy White.

Ms. Peggy White

Our conversation today is going to be a little different than usual, and that’s fine with me.

The Decision to Change Her Life

After an appointment with her doctor in 2015, Ms. Peggy was told some of her numbers weren’t looking so good and that she needed to lose some weight.

She started working with a dietician and made some changes, but before long she started to revert to some of the bad food habits.

At Christmas time in 2015, when the family got together she noticed how much weight her daughter Kristina had lost since the last time they were together.

Kristina told her mother about the changes that she had made to her diet and to become more active, and Ms. Peggy was quite impressed.

Fast forward to Mother’s Day, and Ms. Peggy was gifted a FitBit by her daughter, and she began walking more and more to make sure she was hitting her step goal.

At the same time, she started improving her diet as well.

And it wasn’t long before she began to notice some changes.

Not Always Easy

As you would expect, the progress that Ms. Peggy has made to her life and her health hasn’t simply been smooth sailing.

Toward the end of 2015, Peggy and her husband went on a long vacation that provided many temptations and a huge disruption to her routine.

After the vacation ended, the Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year’s holidays were in full swing. And this combination of factors definitely slowed her progress.

But it didn’t derail her.

Ms. Peggy is back into her routine and is slowly but surely losing weight again.

At the time of our chat, Ms. Peggy is down about 50lbs from when her journey began just over a year ago.

Start Today

Ms. Peggy started the process of taking control of her health in her mid-60s.

It would have been easy for her to say she was too old or too overweight or too whatever. But she didn’t.

She got started, and the change has already been incredible.
