QT: Is It Worth It? Feetures Elite and Freetrain V1

One of the perks of my job is that, from time to time, companies will send me goodies to use/try/have in hopes that I’ll give a glowing review of their products either here, on the podcast, or on the social medias.

I appreciate getting to try some stuff, but one thing that I’m 100% firm about is that I will only speak honestly about the products that I receive.

If a company wants me to talk about their product favorably? Make a good product.

Send me something that sucks? I’ll tell my audience it sucks.

Pretty straight forward, eh?

I’m Excited to be Partnering with Bombas

If you listened to Monday’s podcast episode with Greg Unger already you’re in the loop, but for those that haven’t I’m excited to announce that I have recently agreed to a sponsorship deal with Bombas!

Bombas

In case you’ve never heard of Bombas, allow me to shine a little light on the company and why I’m so stoked to be partnering with them.

I can’t speak for everyone, but I know that when I got into running one of the last things I was concerned with was getting “running socks”. I just kept using the same old cotton socks I’d been wearing for year, meanwhile I upgraded my shorts, shoes, and just about everything else I had that was running related.

Then one day, I decided to “try” some “wicking” socks, so I bought the cheapest 3 pack I could find at Target, because I couldn’t figure out why I should spend more than a few bucks for socks to run in.

Oh sweet ignorance…

To be honest, I definitely noticed the difference between the wicking socks and the old cotton stand bys, but I pretty much just assumed that any “running” sock would be as good as the next.

And I now know that I was incredibly wrong.

As soon as I put my first pair of Bombas on, I could immediately tell the difference. Not only were these socks super comfortable (seriously y’all, it’s like clouds have swallowed your feet when you put these babies on), but I don’t even notice my feet getting even a little bit sweaty when I’m running.

And I’m running in Florida, remember, where swamp foot is a constant struggle.

So what makes Bombas feel so comfortable?

A few things.

They put some serious research into creating the best socks imaginable for people leading an active lifestyle, from the type of cotton they use, to the y-stiched heel, to the built in arch support, and the invisitoe “seam”.

In short, they made sure they were making the most comfortable sock on the market, and I’m here to tell you Bombas hit it out of the park.

Bombas Socks

And while these socks are worth every penny (promise!), the reason that I’m most excited about working with Bombas is because they are a company that cares as much about giving back as they do about creating the best socks on the market.

In fact, the company was founded BECAUSE of a desire to give back.

Did you know that socks are the #1 most requested clothing item in homeless shelters around the country?

Neither did I.

But when the founders of Bombas heard this little piece of information, they literally decided to start a company with the goal of solving the problem.

And, in my opinion at least, they go WAY above and beyond when it comes to giving back.

For every pair of Bombas socks that are sold, the company donates a pair of socks to a shelter in need.

To date, over 300,000 pairs of socks have been donated to shelters across the USA. Like I said, this company is all about giving back.

A quality socks for runners created by a quality company with the spirit of giving back. This is exactly why I’m so happy to have joined forces with Bombas.

So if you want to upgrade to the best running socks you’ve ever used, and make a serious difference in the lives of people in need at the same time, what are you waiting for?

Go order some socks!

Oh, and one more thing.

Bombas wants to give you 20% off of your first purchase, all you need to do is click any of the links in this post and you’ll go to a special page where you can put in your email address and they will send you a 20% off coupon code.

My advice, take advantage of the deal and buy some great socks!

*FTC Disclaimer-In addition to the monetary agreement I made with Bombas, they also provided me with 2 free pairs of socks so that I could try them out. That said, the opinions expressed in this post are mine and mine alone, and in no way are they influenced by anyone associated with Bombas. Seriously y’all, the socks are bad ass. Get some!
