The Importance of Taking a Look Back (with Video)

How often do you stop and take a look back?

This time of the year, it seems like everyone is looking back on the year that was.

But as runners, taking a look back at our training over several weeks/months/years can be vital to help us continue to grow and improve.

That is a big reason why I’ll be keeping a running journal in 2016, and if you’ve never kept a running journal before I’d encourage you to start one as well.

As we put a bow on 2015, I’d encourage you to take a few minutes in the next few days to look back on your running for 2015.

Note the good. Note the bad.

And use that reflection as a way to cement your running plans/goals for 2016.
