Tim Price just looks like the kind of runner you’d love to run with.

Tim Price & his Girlfriend Ready to Run in Style

The saying may go that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but when you look at Tim Price you see a guy that just loves to run and probably doesn’t take himself too seriously.

And after chatting with him, I’d say that is pretty accurate.

I had a blast talking with Tim about why he got started with running marathons (peer pressure for the win!), how running has kind of altered the trajectory of his life, and where he’s hoping to take his running in the future.

We also talked about his “look”, how it came about, and why he’s still rocking the stars and stripes every race!

Tim was also featured in a Runners World article. Check that article out here!

Here are some of the highlights from today’s chat.

  • The keys for improving his performance in future marathons
  • First marathon–peer pressure claims another victim!
  • His experience with the Boston Marathon
  • His cheapness has kind of become a “thing”
  • 5 Marathons in 5 Weeks in 5 States
  • How travel impacts his racing
  • Standing out at races
  • Doing a random ultra when it fits the schedule
  • The benefits of run/walk racing, even if you’re running a sub-3 hour marathon!
  • Plans for 2016

Definitely an awesome guy! I’m hoping to connect with him this spring at one of his races here in FL. Definitely think it would be a good time.
