You’ve Heard of Plantar Fasciitis, But What is the Plantar Fascia? (with Video)
Many runners have dealt with a plantar fascia issue at some point.
While many are familiar with the term plantar fasciitis, and are quick to self-diagnose the ailment as well, very few runners know what the plantar fascia actually is and what it does.
In this video, I’ll discuss what exactly the plantar fascia is, what it does structurally, and why it’s a common injury for runners of all skill and experience levels.
Have You Ever Dealt With a Case of Plantar Fasciitis?
You lost me with the singing in the intro Denny! 🙂 Great piece. I shared it on my blog and made sure to highlight your “singing career”! I have a few in my running group that suffer from PF, and from what they tell me, it is just painful for them, so I hope I can avoid it as long as possible. Thanks for the video, keep up the good work!
Thanks for sharing and hope you’re able to stay injury free when it comes to plantar fasciitis!
As for the singing, it wasn’t something I had intended to do what I started doing videos the first of the year, but I fell into it by accident on the first two and now I do it for all of them! It’s kind of fun, and for the most part, I try to keep each song somehow related to the topic of the video, though sometimes the connection is loose at best.
Great Video! You sure you don’t want to do an Ultra? Your growing an impressive Power Beard there!
A fierce beard and ultra running are completely independent of one another!
