Having to Reset Your Goals Doesn’t Mean that You’ve Failed

As January is drawing to a close, how are you doing with your 2015 resolutions?

I’ve been talking a lot about setting goals for the year in the past few weeks and I’ve been trying to give you some tips that will help you be successful. Remember that eating an elephant isn’t impossible if you cut it into bite-sized pieces, and you don’t need to be perfect to be successful either.

Struggling with your goals? Press the button, reset your goals, and keep moving forward.

Even if you’re doing everything right, there is still a good chance that you will need to reset your goals from time to time.

And that is ok.  Read more

Steady Progress Leads to the Results You Want

Three weeks into 2015, how are you doing with your goals/resolutions for the year?

If you’re like me, you’re working on some big things this year, and three weeks is barely enough time to put  a dent into any of them. The fact that so little progress has been made to date could be seen as frustrating if I wasn’t fully committed to the task at hand.

Fellow Runners Offer Their Running Resolutions for 2015

If you’ve been paying attention for the past few days, it’s pretty clear that I’m a fan of New Year’s Resolutions. Whether you want to call them resolutions or goals for the year, I love making big plans for myself and being able to see how much my hard work and consistent effort can accomplish over a period of weeks and months.

When I talk about my goals and plans for 2015, I hope that I’m able to inspire others to set big goals for themselves and then do whatever it takes to achieve them by the end of the year.

I’m not the only runner in the world that has goals for 2015 that are capable of inspiring action in others. I asked a number of running friends of mine to share their goals for their running this year, and I was floored by the response.
