Angie Maske Berka is Firmly Entrenched in the Online Running Community
Today I’m joining Angie Maske Berka for a few easy miles.
Angie was one of my first “online running friends” and it was fun to have a bit of a conversation with her that was longer than a series of 140 character sound bites!
We covered a variety of topics today, including talking about how much we both enjoy the running community (both online and in real life), how much fun it is to connect in person with online running friends when traveling to different races, and a love of donuts.
Here are a few of the highlights from our chat.
- Her goals typically revolve around pushing herself to new limits
- Experiencing the “trail running culture”, and comparing it to road racing
- Finding her place in the online running community
- Twitter chiming in with questions for Angie
- Utilizing BibRave.com as a resource to help choose future races
- What makes a race special/memorable for her
If you’d like to connect with Angie, check out her blog or follow her on Twitter and/or Instagram.

Join The Tribe!
There’s always room for more members of the tribe!
Both the Facebook group and the email group provide opportunities that can’t be found anywhere else.
The Facebook group is still small, but it is a great way to connect with fellow runners and foster community amongst like minded individuals. The email group is THE way to stay up to date about future guests on the show, as well as getting some other freebies and offers that aren’t available to anyone else.
If you’ve got questions about either/both, just let me know!
